Q: Where do the Fund's units trade?
A: Fund units trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the symbol NPF.UN.  The Fund's two series of convertible debentures also trade on the TSX. The debentures issued in December 2005 trade under the symbol NPF.DB and the debentures issued in 2007 trade under the symbol NPF.DB.A.  There is additional information about our debentures in the Debentures section of our website and on the TSX's website at www.tsx.com.

Q: How can I buy the Fund's units?
A: The Fund does not sell its units directly to the public. To buy units in the Fund, please contact your financial advisor or a brokerage firm.

Q: How many Fund units are outstanding?
A: As at March 31, 2010, there were 71,631,431 Fund units outstanding.

Q: What is the Fund's distribution policy?
A: On October 8, 2008 the Fund suspended the payment of its monthly distributions after the payment of the October 15 distribution.

Q: What is the Fund’s year end?
A: December 31

Q: When does the Fund release its quarterly financial results?
A: Financial results are expected to be released in May (first quarter), August (second quarter), November (third quarter) and March (fourth quarter and year end).

Q: Does the Fund offer a Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP)?
A: No, there is currently no DRP program in place.

Q: Who is the transfer agent and registrar for the Fund's units? What is their function?
A: CIBC Mellon Trust. The transfer agent and registrar keeps a record of every outstanding unit certificate and the name of the person or organization to whom it is registered. When registered units are bought or sold or change hands, the transfer agent transfers the ownership of the units. The registrar reconciles all transfer records and the number of units.

Q: Who are the auditors of the Fund?
A: The Fund’s auditors are Ernst & Young.

Q: What is the CUSIP number for the Fund's units?
A: The CUSIP number is: 65230P109

Q: What are the CUSIP numbers for the Fund's debentures?
A: The CUSIP number for NPF.DB is: 65230PAA7 while the CUSIP number for NPF.DB.A is: 65230PAB5.

Q: What are your plans for the Fund, given the passing of BillC52 – the federal government’s plan to tax income trusts beginning in 2011?
A: The Fund has evaluated its alternatives as to the best structure for its unitholders and has determined that the most appropriate action is conversion in due course to a corporate structure.
